Founder & Director
The team at ACspeedtech is headed up by the founder, Andy Clark. Andy is very much a hands-on kind of guy. He is personally responsible for engine building and ECM/TCM mapping. He’s probably the most difficult guy to contact but this is for good reason. If he’s not working with an engine or an ECM he can often be found with Gary designing the latest solution to a question that most other companies haven’t even thought of yet.

Everybodie’s Father
Gary joined ACSpeedtech in 2016. He’s been involved in a lot of different areas of the automotive industry that has involved working in hands on roles as well as management roles. In the early 2000’s Gary was responsible for the growth of HKS Europe’s performance arm. In the late 2000’s he was very involved with Nissan Europe’s launch of the GT-R. The launch saw him work directly for Nissan supporting training, events and some major projects both on and off the race circuit. Alongside his commitments to Nissan, Gary established the GT-R department at Middlehurst, took responsibility for running Nissan Europe’s fleet on GT-R’s in and around Europe and was the first to officially bring NISMO to the UK. More recently Gary has worked in Vehicle Dynamics for Jaguar Land Rover.

Senior Technician
Alan is the longest serving employee. Alan joined ACspeedtech after Andy realised that the company was expanding at a tremendous rate of knots. Alan brings a wealth of experience from the Japanese tuning industry and has an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of everything automotive including being able to recite most comedy one liners from any Hollywood movie. Without wanting to typecast a very talented engineer, Alan’s most specialist subject is the Nissan GT-R GR6 transmission. He spends a certain amount of time locked in the clean room with only a transmission for company.

Senior Technician
Steve joined ACspeedtech after the move to the current premises which enabled Andy to expand the team. Steve might look familiar if you own a GT-R. Steve worked for many years for a major retailer in the GT-R world as head technician. Steve has a wealth of knowledge from the Nissan dealer network and the Nissan GT-R. You will struggle to find somebody with better knowledge of this platform. Steve can often be found perfecting 50:50 weight distribution after fitting coilover suspension.
